Creep and Sliding in Clay Slopes. Mutual Effects of Interlayer Swelling and Ice Jacking.

Abstract

The report describes the results of test conducted during the winter of 1983-84. Frozen pore water is of minor importance in heaving. Relations among freezing processes, ice lenses formation, and source water are briefly described.
