Air Force Human Resources Laboratory 1983 Accomplishments.

Abstract

The Air Force Human Resources Laboratory is the principal Air Force Systems Command organization for planning and coordinating research in personnel management, logistics and team training, aircrew training, and technical training. Part of the basic mission of this laboratory is to develop useful products for making management and policy decisions on Air Force personnel. Human resources technology is important because the largest single item in the DoD budget is the cost of personnel. The accomplishments in this paper reflect research and development completed during 1983. R&D accomplishments are presented in five major areas: Manpower and Personnel; Training Systems; Operations Training; and Logistics and Human Factors.
