Self Potentials of an Electron Ring in a Torus for Large Ring Displacement from the Minor Axis.

Abstract

We have computed the electric self potential and the magnetic self vector potential for a circular cross section electron ring inside a perfectly conducting toroidal chamber for large ring displacement from the minor axis of the torus. These potentials can provide valuable insight on the non linear dynamics of the intense electron rings.
