Measurement of Unit Effectiveness in Marine Corps Infantry Battalions. Appendices

Abstract

Nineteen Marine battle scenarios are studied for general preparation for the engagement, unit background, pre-engagement situation and operations, the engagement and the after-action report. The second section of the study asks the student to rate the mission accomplishment, combat effectiveness, or performance of the friendly battalion. Then the student indicates which factors were crucial in determining the outcome of the engagement.
