Abstract

This document provides a brief introduction to those aspects of SAR image properties and signal processing operations related to the use of SAR images for point measurement purposes. Geometrical properties of the image and math models are considered. An analysis of problems which may be encountered in SAR measurement applications and potential research to solve these problems is addressed. (Author)
