Army Industrial Fund Analytical Study (AIFAS).

Abstract

Army Industrial Fund Analytical Study (AIFAS) reviewed and evaluated the current Army Industrial Fund (AIF) financial management system and performed a cost-benefit analysis of the current AIF compared to the alternative of maintaining AIF but tracking the supply function under separate appropriation. AIF installations were identified into groups. Costs were determined for each of the typical installations in the group and then extrapolated to the other installations in the group to provide an Army-wide cost/savings estimate. A qualitative assessment of the current and alternative systems was also made.
