Broadband Pillbox Antennas.

Abstract

The possibility of designing very broadband pillbox antennas has been demonstrated. It was also shown that the operating bandwidth of the existing IFF (pillbox) antenna, AS 1065/UPX, can be improved by a simple modification of the existing feed. Additional modifications are suggested to further improve the performance at the low frequency end.
