Synthesis, Characterization and Crystal and Molecular Structure of Ga(CH2SiMe3)3.Me2NC2H4NMe2.Ga(CH2SiMe3)3.

Abstract

The isolated product (Me3SiCH2)3Ga.Me2NCH4NMe2.Ga(CH2SiMe3)3 was fully characterized by analysis, standard spectroscopic methods, cryoscopic molecular weight measurements and an X-ray structural study. This structural study represents only the second report of a structure of neutral trialkylgallium-amine donor-acceptor complex and the first with an alkyl group other than methyl.
