User's Guide to Potamology Data Processing System (PODAPS). Revision.

Abstract

The Potamology Data Processing System (PODAPS) is composed of programs and data bases integrated to provide a tool for use by engineers in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering studies. Provision is made for data base update, retrieval, and analysis using stage-discharge data, cross-section survey data, and temperature and rainfall data in a variety of analyses and graphic presentations. PODAPS operates in a time-sharing mode on the Waterways Experiment Station DPS-1 computer. Origination supplied keywords include: Cross-sectional survey files, Dike file, Dredge file, Levee file, Revetment file, Temperature-rainfall file, and Subcatalog.
