Abstract

Wallace Pond Outlet Dam, Gloucester, Mass., is a 220 + or - feet long earth embankment dam with a hydraulic height of approximately 22 feet. It contains a 15 foot long by 1.6 foot high stone masonry spillway near the left abutment. The dam is in fair condition. The dam has a size classification of small and a hazard potential of high. The test flood chosen would be 1/2 the PMF.
