Improved Radiographic Viewing System.

Abstract

An improved radiographic viewing system was developed for field medical X-ray applications. This effort began with research on state-of-the-art technology in X-ray to light conversion screens (especially fiber optic scintillators), image intensifiers, and detectors. The findings of this research were used to design a radiographic camera which was then constructed and tested. It is lightweight, compact, rugged, with good resolution and sensitivity.
