Proceedings of the Workshop on Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) of Titanium Alloys (2nd) Held on 2-4 February 1982 at the Naval Research Laboratory, Underwater Sound Reference Detachment, Orlando, Florida.

Abstract

Various NDE (Nondestructive Evaluation) techniques based on acoustical, electromagnetic and nuclear physics principles were investigated to evaluate quantitatively the oxygen contamination levels (varying from 0.075 percent to 0.29 percent by wt.) in NRL supplied titanium plate samples. These edited proceedings present the results of these investigations (which were also presented at The Second Workshop).
