Procedures for Long-Term Evaluation of Heat Recovery Incinerator Systems.

Abstract

A number of HRI facilities are not operating as designed. Part of the problem has been a lack of proper data collection and analysis procedures. The set of procedures developed by this report are intended to correct this problem. Procedures are detailed in the areas of data collection and data analysis for existing facilities to identify inadequate equipment performance and for use in the design of future HRIs. The information obtained can be used to increase or modify maintenance and replacement schedules or to justify design changes.
