Genetic Characterization of Insect Vectors of Disease.

Abstract

We have carried out extensive population genetic studies on the yellow fever mosquito, Aedes aegypti, concentrating on populations from the southern U.S. The goal of the research is to define genetic-geographic groupings of this serious vector.
