Abstract

A description is given of the use of ozone to treat circulation water in the NOSC (Naval Ocean Systems Center-San Diego) Building 1 cooling tower. Topics include tower operating data, ozone equipment installation and operation, chemical and bacterial analyses; problems encountered, and benefits realized.
