Information Processing Research

Abstract

This second semiannual report is organized as six chapters under six major areas of research: Multiprocessor systems; Image Understanding systems; Machine Intelligence; Software Technology; Archival Memory Architectures; and Distributed Sensor Networks. The research efforts cover a wide spectrum of computer science and engineering. The report provides a brief description of the research in progress in each of the six areas supported under the present contract.
