Electrical Characterization of Analog Microprocessors.

Abstract

Two digital signal processors, the 2920 and TMS32010, were characterized on this contract. A test pattern and program were developed for the 2920 and data was taken to determine its operating region. The characterization of the TMS32010 consisted of the analysis of the functional test which will be included in a MIL-M-38510 slash sheet for the device. Other tasks included a survey of available and planned general purpose digital signal processors, the development of a test philosophy for modified Booth's algorithm multipliers, and the evaluation of the applicability of Walsh functions to the testing of D/A converters.
