Computer Aided Antenna Design and Frequency Selection for HF Communications.

Abstract

Efficient and reliable high frequency skywave communication can be obtained only if wave propagation paths are carefully analyzed and if an antenna which transmits and receives signals along the desired paths can be selected and designed. A micro-computer based program was developed to accomplish this task. Keywords: Antenna; Propagation; Noise; PROPHET; Numerical electromagnetic code; and Tactical communications.
