An Intelligence Collection Management Model.

Abstract

This thesis examines the structure and functions of a generalized intelligence collection system. Included are its position in the intelligence system structure, relationship with other activities in the intelligence system, and the organization and control of its components. A mathematical optimization model of a simplified intelligence collection system is developed to explore several issues related to intelligence collection. An interactive multiattribute decision aid useful in the prioritization of numerous collection requirements is demonstrated. Keywords include: Tactical intelligence, and Reconnaissance and surveillance.
