This study explores the topic of inflation indices, what they measure, and how they are applied. It is intended for use by individuals who don't have a technical background in economics or indexing theory. The goal is to provide a basic explanation of how inflation indices are developed and how they are used, through illustrative examples. Topics Include: Considerations to be Reviewed before Applying any Inflation Index, Sample Problems for Troop Support Items, and Glossary of Inflation Terms.
