High Time-Resolution Studies of the Auroral Ionosphere.

Abstract

Monostatic radar experimental technique and analysis software were developed to permit spatial mapping of high-latitude ionospheric parameters across a 1000 km region. Details of the midnight and noon sectors were examined. MITHRAS electric field analysis supported the development of predictive ionospheric models and addressed global imaging of the convection electric field.
