DoD Statistical Report on the Military Retirement System. Fiscal Year 1982.

Abstract

The military retirement system, summarized as of Sept. 30, 1982, applies to the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. However, most of the provisions also apply to retirement systems for members of the Coast Guard (Administered by the Department of Transportation), officers of the Public Health Service (administered by H.H.S.), and officers of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (administered by the Department of Commerce).
