Abstract

This report includes descriptive summaries of RDT&E activity for fiscal year 1986 submitted to Congress February 1985. Activities include naval warfare, nuclear monitoring, innovative technologies, materials sciences, electronic sciences, systems sciences, computer and communications sciences, strategic technology, power source and extra hypervelocity technology, target penetration research, partial beam technology, and geophysical sciences. Each entry has its project number, program element number, USDR&E mission area designation, title and budget activity under which it falls. Most projects give brief descriptions, actual and estimated costs, comparisons with past activities, related activities and milestones.
