An Atlas of Pure Water Vapor Spectra from 500 to 5000/cm. Volume 1.

Abstract

An atlas of the pure H2O absorption spectrum between 500 and 5000 cm-1 is presented. This atlas presents laboratory absorption spectra of pure water vapor between 500 and 5000/cm. Volume I contains spectral plots and Volume II (AD-A151157) contains the line listings. For each frequency, four spectra are presented, from top to bottom: 5 Torr at 284 k; 10 Torr at 294.3 k; 20 Torr at 308 k; and 40 Torr at 320 k. The path length is 821 meters. Tables of approximate line frequencies are also included.
