Evaluation of an Algorithm for the Solution of the Time-Dependent Euler Equations.

Abstract

In this Memorandum the application to one-dimensional moving shock problems of the counterpart of the algorithm developed to solve the two-dimensional Euler equations by Pulliam and Steger is examined. Numerical results obtained using the algorithm are presented and compared with the exact analytical solutions.
