Abstract
Description of Action: Work in the Cooper River as follows: Construction of a 40-by 108-foot pier, a 38- by 6,314-foot pipeline trestle supporting 4 pipelines and a roadway, and two breasting dolphins and four mooring dolphins connected to the pier by two 4- by 350-foot walkways; excavation of a 155-by 300-foot barge slip having a depth of 10 feet MLW with sheetpile bulkheads and timber dolphins, dredging of a 200- by 1,000-foot canal between Cooper River and Grove Creek, and dredging of an 80-foot channel with a depth of 10-feet MLW Grove Creek, to the barge slip, and a 400 by 7,200-foot channel with a depth of 35 feet MLW in Cooper River; and the disposal of about 1.3 million cubic yards of dredged material in the Yellow House Creek Disposal Area.
