Companies Participating in the Department of Defense Subcontracting Program First Quarter Fiscal Year 1985.
Abstract
This DIOR report represents a variety of subcontract data collected from Department of Defense (DOD) large business firms that have received at least one award in excess of $500,000 ($1,000,000 for construction). Public Law 95-507 requires that these contractors establish a small business and small disadvantaged business subcontracting program and report to DOD quarterly, using Standard Form 295, on subcontract awards made to these types of firms. Table II-1 shows the dollar amounts and percent distribution of awards from DOD contractors to large, small, and small disadvantaged businesses for the first quarter FY 1984 and the first quarter FY 1985. Table II-2 summarizes DOD subcontracting program commitments for the first quarter FY 1985. Tables II-3 and II-4 summarize small and small disadvantaged business subcontracting goals and achievements. Detailed information from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is presented in Part III, Sections 1 through 4.
