Abstract

The theme of this Conference is the sociology of science and technology in the Soviet Union. It relates to the academic, industrial, and military settings in which research and development are initiated and developed and the process which these programs follow. These papers were prepared by experts in these subjects. There are nine papers plus introductory remarks and a forward.
