Elementary Reactions of Importance in Oxidation, Combustion Ignition and Flame Inhibitions.

Abstract

The last three years have been very eventful and fruitful in terms of scientific achievement and publication. We began a program of investigating the chemistry and mechanisms associated with cool flames, ignition, combustion and inhibition. Specific topics included: Thermochemistry of Radicals Important in Combustion Process; Theoretical Studies in Kinetics; Experimental Design; and Theory of Ionic Solvation.
