K-Pulse for a Thin Circular Loop.

Abstract

Based on the pole-elimination concept, a time-limited input waveform, the K-pulse, is obtained for a thin conducting circular loop. The resultant response waveforms are also found to be time-limited. Therefore, by employing the K-pulse input waveform, the resonant ringing associated with the circular loop has been eliminated. The concept and procedure for deriving the K-pulse are discussed in this paper. (Author)
