The Hydrosynclastic Infundibulum.

Abstract

The possibility of setting up a water vortex inside a convergent axisymetric duct is investigated, with a view toward applications to a proposed high-density-gas-enclosed Z-pinch experiment. Keywords include: z-pinch, fusion, water, vortex, first wall, heat exchange, infundibulum, and incompressible flow.
