Variability of Measures of Weapons Effectiveness. Volume 8. Effectiveness Indices in Multiple and Guided Weapons

Abstract

Mathematical models are developed for obtaining expressions for the probability of kill for multiple weapons under stick delivery, for laser guided bombs, and for guided weapons. It is assumed that the damage function can be approximated by the Carleton damage function and that delivery errors are present having predefined distributions. The variability in probability kill is computed.
