Abstract

Prime contract awards by region and state is published annually by the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington Headquarters Service, Directorate for Information Operations and Reports (WHS/DIOR). This issue provides information on the geographical distribution of Department of Defense prime contract awards over $10,000 for Fiscal Years (FY) by the United States census region and state. This information is detailed in tables and figures showing: the net value and percent distribution of awards, by region and state, for FY; the net value and percent distribution of awards within the seven major hard goods programs, by region, for FY; the net value and percent distribution of awards in the 25 major procurement programs for each state for FY; and data on research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT/E) awards by region and state according to the type of contractor for FY.
