Consummative Expressions for Satellite Drag Perturbations in a Spherically Symmetrical Atmosphere.

Abstract

A compact formalism is developed that provides expressions for satellite aerodynamic drag perturbations when an exponentially varying atmospheric density distribution is assumed. This formalism is well suited for efficient manipulation and computation using the electronic computer.
