Fin-Line Horn Antennas.

Abstract

A new, bilateral fin-line horn antenna is introduced and the results of testing discussed. Experimental return loss and absolute gain data are presented and used to make comparisons between the characteristics of conventional and fin-line horns. Classical analysis assuming Huygen source distribution and E-plane sectoral horn modeling is applied with limited success. Keywords include: Fin-Line Horn Antenna; and Printed Circuit Antenna.
