National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Fort Meadow Reservoir Dam (MA 00449), Merrimack River Basin, Marlborough, Massachusetts. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

There are two impounding structures at Fort Meadow Reservoir--an earthfill dam and an earth dike adjacent to a spillway with a concrete weir. The dam is about 320 ft. long and 30 ft. high. The dike is about 80 ft. wide and 3.5 ft. high, and the spillway is 13.3 ft. long. The dam is considered to be in generally poor condition. It also has a high hazard potential level.
