Mutagenic Potential of Guanidine Nitrate.

Abstract

The mutagenic potential of guanidine nitrate (TPO30) was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenesis Assay. Tester strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537, and TA1538 were exposedd to doses ranging from 5 mg/plate to 0.0016 mg/plate. The test compound was not mutagenic under conditions of this assay.
