Mutagenic Potential of Guanidine Hydrochloride (TP028).

Abstract

The mutagenic potential of guanidine hydrochloride (TPO28) was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Nutagenicity Assay. Tester strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537, and TA1538 were exposed to doses ranging from 5mg/plate to 0.0016 mg/plate. Negative mutagenic responses were observed for the test compound.
