Abstract

The dam is a 204 ft. long earth fill, concrete gravity and stone masonry structure on the Souhegan River. It is about 22.5 ft. high with its 75 ft. long spillway having a height of about 19 ft. It is small in size with a significant hazard potential. The dam is in poor condition and requires considerable routine maintenance. There are various remedial measures which must be implemented by the owner.
