Companies Participating in the Department of Defense Subcontracting Program, First Half Fiscal Year 1985.

Abstract

This report presents subcontract data collected from DoD large business firms that have received at least one award in excess of $500,000 ($1,000,000 for construction). Public Law 95-307 requires that these contractors establish a small business and small disadvantaged business subcontracting program and report to DoD quarterly on subcontract awards made to these types of firms. Those contractors who deal in commercial products are required to report on an annual basis during the fourth quarter of the Fiscal Year. Commercial products are defined as products sold in substantial quantities to the general public and/or industry at established catalog or market prices. Table 11-1 shows the dollar amounts and percent distribution of awards from DoD contractors to large, small, and small disadvantaged businesses. Table 11-2 summarizes DoD subcontracting program commitments. Tables 11-3 and 11-4 summarize small and small disadvantaged business subcontracting goals and achievements. Commercial product information for thes same categories is shown in Tables 11-5, 11-6, and 11-7. Detailed information from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), excluding commercial products, is presented in Part III, Section 1 through 4. Commercial product information is presented in Part III, Section 5. These listings include all of the statistics submitted by each contractor and subcontractor.
