Criteria for Limit Equilibrium Slope Stability Program Package.

Abstract

The criteria gor a general limit equilibrium slope stability computer program package to define the desired capabilities and features are presented. The criteria cover the screening requirements for the evaluation of the various methods of analysis, and existing computer programs, and the desired enhancements and capabilities. The final package will be able to perform either a Bishop, Spencer, Modified Swedish, or Wedge analysis. The criteria are the basis of the task group decision to modify or enhance the program called UTEXAS instead of writing a new program. (Author)
