TNT Equivalency of EAK Explosive

Abstract

Peak side-on blast overpressure and scaled positive impulse have been measured for EAK explosive. The equivalency testing addressed the cylindrical shipping container. High explosive equivalency values for each test series were obtained as a function of scaled distance by comparison to known pressure and impulse characteristics for TNT hemispherical surface bursts.
