Rapid Repair of Wet Asphalt Pavements.

Abstract

This thesis evaluated three commercially manufactured, pre-packaged pothole repair materials in the field and in the laboratory, under various adverse climatic conditions, to determine their effectiveness. Field tests were conducted in four distinct geographical and climatic regions in Texas under actual weather and traffic conditions. The strength of these products was evaluated in terms of Marshall Stability. A bond strength test was developed and used to evaluate the effectiveness of the bond that develops between the product and the repaired pavement.
