Abstract

The concrete gravity and earth dam is about 29 ft. high and about 470 ft. long. The lake is used to supply industrial water to Saint Regis Paper Co. and domestic water supply to the town of Bucksport. The dam is in fair condition. It is intermediate in size with a high hazard classification. Round the clock surveillance should be provided during periods of high precipitation.
