Abstract

The dam is an 87 ft. long earthen and stone structure with a maximum height of 11 ft. The dam is in poor condition. The inspection revealed an open tunnel through the embankment below the upstream waterline, soil erosion adjacent to the right hand training wall of the outlet works, and a large transverse crack in the spillway slab and wall. It is intermediate in size with a hazard classification of significant. (Author)
