National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Wantastiquet Lake (VT 00073), Connecticut River Basin, Weston. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

The dam is an earthfill dam with a mortared stone core wall. The dam is about 18 ft. high and 400 ft. long. It is small in size with a high hazard potential. The dam is judged to be in fair condition because of a bulge and associated low spots observed at a location about 45 ft. left of the gate house. The bulge in the dam requires additional investigation to determine if a hazardous condition exists. (Author)
