National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Gale Meadows Dam (VT 00115), Gale Meadows Dike (VT 00274), Connecticut River Basin, Town of Londonderry, Windham County, Vermont. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

The dam is an earth embankment about 300 ft. long and 30 ft. high. The dike is an earth embankment about 150 ft. long and 6 ft. high. The dam is in fair condition. There are a few concerns, though. The dam is intermediate in size with a significant hazard potential. There are various remedial measures and recommendations which should be undertaken by the owner. (Author)
