Used Aircraft Acquisitions -- Air Force Lessons Learned.

Abstract

Lessons learned from recent USAF programs show both potential benefits and potential pitfalls associated with used aircraft acquisitions. This study reviews the recent USAF used aircraft programs and examines the significant benefits and pitfalls associated with them. It also outlines suggested generic used aircraft contract features to better help Air Force managers deal with the differences between used and conventional aircraft acquisition programs. (Author).
