Abstract

The dam is a concrete buttress structure with extensive earthfill at the downstream face. It is 526 ft. high and 43 ft high. The dam is considered to be in poor condition and the dike is considered to be in fair condition. Major soft, wet area with active seepage discharge at the downstream toe of the dam near the right abutment is among major concerns. It is intermediate in size with a high hazard potential.
