Abstract

This handbook is a career development guide for newly assigned Air Force, Strategic Air Command rated crewmembers. Its purpose is to provide those officers an initial perspective of the following areas: the Aviation Career Incentive Act, assignment process/opportunities, Form 90 procedures, education opportunities, promotions, and author's opinions as related to career development. The underlying theme throughout emphasizes individual performance as the key to successful career development. If desired, the handbook could be a useful tool for Unit Career Development Officers while counseling the young rated crewmember.
